Teachers are the light bearers for the future of the world they are the ones who show the path to success to children. Today on the day of Teacher’s day our NGO AAS-EHSAAS thought of honouring teachers who are doing an incredible job teaching the children in govt. Schools in such a way that their work speaks. Today we are honoured to appreciate the work of Mrs Pooja Sharma, Mrs Shweta Sharma and Mrs Taranjeet Kaur
Speaking about their work Mrs Pooja Sharma is an English teacher at a Govt School who has been working with the children to teach them international standard English and help them grow in their life. Due to her teachings when the US ambassador visited PAU, Ludhiana her students got a chance to have a conversation with them and everyone was also astonished by their way of
speaking. Mrs Shweta Sharma who is a principal of a govt. School in Jassiyan where she had done a wonderful job by rising the admission of school from 200 to 700+ students. her work as a principal has changed the look of the school and brought a positive impact to the surroundings. Mrs Taranjeet Kaur who is a science teacher at a government school where she helps and teaches underprivileged children to grab scholarships from national schemes for their future studies. Her efforts to help children have changed the lives of many and we believe it would impact society I’m coming the future. During this honour ceremony, Joint State Secretary of youth State Punjab Gunjeet Ruchi Bawa informed everyone a teacher can bring a change in society which can leave a long-lasting impact. And these teachers, who are being honoured today by the NGO are showing us even with limited infrastructure big changes can be brought to the lives of children. Govt Schools that were known for poor conditions over there had brought changes that no one could have imagined. During the honour ceremony education team of AAS-EHSAAS comprised of Education dept head Shruti Nanda, Counselor Parminder, Anju Verma from the finance dept, Jinny Singh trust member of the NGO, Mrs Kiran and Mrs Anshu who are educationists in AAS-EHSAAS and General Secretary of NGO Shivansh Tandon was present. And all of the member’s utmost priority was to know from the honourees how NGOs could work with them for the welfare of children.
