






The Saada Virsa Cultural Fest celebrated Punjab’s vibrant heritage while creating meaningful opportunities for rural youth and women. Held at Lodhi Club from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, this successful event was organized by TEEOC (The Empowerment & Education of Community) in association with Aas-Ehsaas. Its dual mission: to honor Punjab’s rich cultural legacy and raise funds to empower underprivileged women and rural youth across the region.
The fest not only paid homage to Punjab’s enduring traditions but also served as a platform to uplift the region’s youth. Rural and urban participants collaborated to harness diverse skill sets, creating pathways for financial assistance, healthier lifestyles, and avenues to showcase local talents. Guests and attendees, dressed in vibrant Punjabi attire, added to the celebratory atmosphere, embodying the spirit of Punjab’s colorful and dynamic heritage.

Distinguished Guests and Empowering Speeches
The event was graced by several esteemed guests who played pivotal roles in shaping the evening’s success:

Cultural Performances and Artistic Heritage
One of the highlights of the event was the spotlight on Sargun Sethi, an intern working tirelessly to revive the traditional art forms of Phulkari and embroidery, which are integral to Punjab’s cultural fabric.Â
The evening was filled with mesmerizing performances showcasing Punjab’s rich music, dance, and artistic expressions. Ruchi Bawa, President of TEEOC, along with Parvinder Kaur (Office Coordinator) and Kamlesh (Anchor), led the fest with passion and dedication. The tireless efforts of the organizing team—Ritu Vaishisht (Head of Cultural Team), Kamya Khanna (Head of Internship Team), and Dolly Behal (Finance Head)—ensured the event’s smooth execution.
Hosts Simmi Arora and Kiran Sood from TEEOC’s Initiative Team guided attendees through a fun-filled yet purposeful evening, which seamlessly blended entertainment with empowerment.
Essay Writing Competition: Reflecting on Punjab’s Heritage
A highlight of the event was the Essay Writing Competition, where participants explored the theme “Saada Virsa,” reflecting on the richness of Punjab’s cultural heritage. The thoughtful and inspiring submissions showcased the talent of the region’s youth, and the winners were awarded gifts in recognition of their exceptional creativity.
